Standards
This product is manufactured in strict accordance with the following standards to ensure that the quality complies with national standards and international specifications. International standard products can also be provided according to user requirements:
National Standard:
GB/T 12706.1 Cables for rated voltages of 1kV (Um=1.2kV) and 3kV (Um=3.6kV)
Application Scope
This product is suitable for fixed installation in distribution networks or industrial installations with power frequency rated voltages up to 0.6/1kV. Specific application scenarios include:
• Power distribution systems in high-rise buildings and residential communities.
• Power supply lines for industrial plants, mines, and enterprises.
• Installation environments such as tunnels, cable trenches, shafts, and direct burial.
• Suitable for AC systems. If single-core cables are used in AC systems, non-magnetic armoring or magnetic isolation measures should be adopted.
Operating Characteristics
• Rated Voltage:
The power frequency rated voltage U0/U is 0.6/1kV.
• Operating Temperature:
The maximum permissible long-term operating temperature of the cable conductor is 90°C.
• Short-Circuit Temperature:
During a short circuit (maximum duration not exceeding 5s), the maximum temperature of the cable conductor shall not exceed 250°C.
• Installation Temperature:
The ambient temperature during cable installation shall not be lower than 0°C.
• Minimum Bending Radius:
The bending radius of the cable shall not be less than 15 times the cable outer diameter.
• Flame-Retardant and Fire-Resistant (Optional):
Flame-retardant, low-smoke halogen-free, or fire-resistant cables can be provided according to requirements to meet different fire protection grade requirements.
Cable Structure
The structure of this product is scientifically designed with multiple protective layers to ensure long-term safe operation:
1. Conductor: High-purity copper or aluminum conductor, compliant with GB/T 3956, with excellent electrical conductivity.
2. Insulation: XLPE insulation layer with high temperature resistance, high insulation resistance, and low dielectric loss.
3. Filling: Non-hygroscopic filling materials to ensure cable roundness.
4. Binding Tape: Non-woven tape binding to secure the cable cores.
5. Inner Sheath (Optional): Separates the armoring layer from the insulated cores.
6. Armoring Layer (Optional): Steel tape armoring (for compression resistance) or steel wire armoring (for tensile resistance).
7. Outer Sheath: PVC or PE sheath, providing corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and good weather adaptability.
Main Technical Parameters
• Conductor DC Resistance:
Complies with GB/T 3956, ensuring low-loss transmission.
• AC Withstand Voltage Test:
0.6/1kV cable: Test voltage 3.5kV / 5min, no breakdown.
1.8/3kV cable: Test voltage 6.5kV / 5min, no breakdown.
• Insulation Resistance:
The insulation resistance value at normal temperature complies with standard requirements.
• Capacitance and Inductance:
Detailed reference values are provided for electrical system calculations.
Current Carrying Capacity and Installation Correction
The current carrying capacity of the cable is affected by installation environment (in air or in soil), ambient temperature, soil thermal resistivity, and installation method. Jiangnan Cable provides detailed current carrying capacity tables and correction factors, including:
• Installation in air: Ambient temperature 40°C, maximum long-term conductor temperature 90°C.
• Installation in soil: Soil temperature 25°C, soil thermal resistivity 2.0K·m/W, direct burial depth 0.7m.
• Correction factors: Correction factors for current carrying capacity under different ambient temperatures, soil temperatures, soil thermal resistivity, and multiple parallel installations, ensuring safe cable operation under actual working conditions.
